CONGRATS MARISSA ON PASSING THE CSET!!!!
As many of you know, Marissa has been contemplating the idea of a career change. After 6 years in the working world, she has narrowed down her goal to shape and mold young minds! Look out! Hah, Marissa's gonna do a great job teaching. Those kids will learn very quickly who's the boss apple sauce (... and it ain't Tony Danza!). She also reminds us that it's never to late to go after your goals and seek happiness in life. Marissa is turning away from a great paying job with Pepsi to follow her heart. You go girl!!!

Okay, obviously this post is stricktly for my entertainment. When
Webber was playing with the Kings, my buddy Aaron started spreading the rumor that I resembled a white "C-Webb". To this day, I'm not sure how he came up with this? It wasn't til recently that I noticed another NBA familiarity in the family! So, from this day forth I have been referring to my brother as "King Brett (King James)." Brett and I however know who would take who in a 2 on 2 scenerio. LaBron and C-Webb wouldn't stand a chance!

Ashley had her first photo shoot for daddy's Father's Day gift. She also had her first trip to the mall and enjoyed both the photo shoot and shopping. (I think we are in trouble!)

This year, to celebrate Papa C's birthday/father's day, I took him to RPM Raceway in Rancho Cordova. The little carts can almost reach 50 mph on the straight aways.

FAREWELL MR. HONG!!!
Our good buddy Tim Hong (who we met through young adults Bible study), is heading out to Pittsburg Pennsylvania to pursue his Masters degree in Engineering. I'm personally going to miss scoring 20 points a game on him in the low post during our pick up hoop games. We wish him well in his new adventure, good luck Tim!

THE NEW GRAD!
Congrats Khalee!!!
Our niece Khalee Anderson just wrapped up her eigth grade year and will be moving on as a Freshman at Bear River High School in the Fall. Khalee is an honor roll student, a terrific athlete, and has a big heart. We are all proud of the young woman she's growing into, and we look forward to her future success. Congratulations Khalee!!!

THE MARRIAGE OF STEPHANIE & DAN ARRIERO
Today we witness the celebration of marriage between Stephanie Taylor & Dan Arriero. Stephanie is one of Dawna's closest friends from High School and made for a beautiful bride today. The ceremony and reception were held at Stephanie's parents winery called "Sierra Knolls" located in the Sierra Foothills between Auburn & Grass Valley, CA. As you can see, it was a gorgeous afternoon and we had a great time. This was also Ashley's first day out of the house and she loved all the attention she received from friends and family of the bride and groom. Cheers and God's blessings to the new couple!!!
